This project aims to understand and escape from recognition (It is all around us). By looking at recognition from the perspectives of animals, detection from technology’s eyes and humans we can begin to understand how we truly exist. The auditory escape from animals may lead to being highly recognizable to another human. Escape is contradictory when it is from everything.

Hide your features with the features of others, confusion in the crowds.

Hide your Co2 from the mosquitoes, wear recognisable wearables.

Hide your body from thermal cameras, eat hotpot and make new hot spots.

Drawing upon the notion of non-human intelligence - human, technological, animal - to investigate methods of evading them. I seek new methods for becoming unrecognizable in environments where I feel exposed or uncomfortable. In order to become comfortable in my habits, I first must understand all the ways I am perceived and can be perceived. Is it possible to escape at all?
